CENTRE FOR SUICIDE PREVENTION: SAFETY PLANS
The Safety Plans to Prevent Suicide Toolkit is available in free online and PDF formats, with hard copies available for purchase. This toolkit will show you what a safety plan is and how to create one together with an individual who may be considering suicide, but is not in immediate crisis. It will illustrate how safety plans work and why they are one of the best tools to help mitigate future suicidal behaviours.
The Centre for Suicide Prevention is an education centre, a centre of excellence, based in Calgary, Alberta in Canada. They educate online, in print, and interactively with a library of over 45,000 suicide-specific items, the largest English-language collection of its kind.

The MCSP’s mission is to prevent suicide through statewide collaboration and advocacy. The goals of the coalition are to support and develop effective suicide prevention initatives through leadership and advocacy, promote collaboration among organizations, develop and recommend policy, and promote research and development.
