At JF&CS, we bring more than 20 years of experience and expertise in working with older adults in the field of mental health. We recognize the need to foster caring housing communities that are equipped and empowered to address mental health issues and support a population of diverse older adults. We work in senior housing and in community settings and are available to educate, train, and consult with staff and older adults on these topics.

SOMERVILLE CAMBRIDGE ELDER SERVICES
Since 1972, Somerville-Cambridge Elder Services (SCES) has been the area’s aging information and service center. SCES helps older people and people living with disabilities remain safe and independent in their own homes by providing a wide range of supportive services, as well as information and advice.

The EMHOT Program at Ethos is a person-centric flexible Behavioral Health Program for persons age 60+ focused on improving the mental well-being of each individual. Social Workers and Master level Social Work interns assist older adults with immediate needs as well as long-term supports.

Mystic Valley Elder Services promotes the health and independence of older adults, adults living with disabilities, and caregivers residing in urban and suburban communities north of Boston, including Chelsea, Everett, Malden, Medford, Melrose, North Reading, Reading, Revere, Stoneham, Wakefield and Winthrop. Through our direct services, care coordination, and network of business partners, we can help you access the support you need to live the life you want.

FRIENDSHIPWORKS
FriendshipWorks serves older adults, 60+ years of age (or 55+ if have vision/hearing loss) by matching them with volunteers for friendship and assistance. We also have Spanish-speaking staff and can often match in a variety of languages. These services are at NO cost. FriendshipWorks service areas include all of Boston, Brookline, Newton, Somerville, and Cambridge.
